Mary Wooldridge is the CEO of the Workplace Gender Equality Agency. Her career goals have all been about making an impact and driving change, and although change is slow she holds a lot of hope for accelerating that into the future.

About Mary Wooldridge
Mary comes with a wealth of experience from a distinguished career in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors. Mary served from 2006 to 2020 in the Victorian Parliament, including a term as Minister for Mental Health, Community Services and Women’s Affairs. Her time in Parliament contributed to significant progress in representation, strategy and policy relating to gender equality, violence against women and their children, the National Disability Insurance Scheme, young people, mental health and Indigenous Australians.
Prior to being elected to Parliament, Mary was the CEO of The Foundation for Young Australians and occupied senior positions both here and abroad in consulting, strategy and leadership at McKinsey and Company and Consolidated Press holdings.
